Katie Bairdie (sheet music)

Also known as Gabhaidh Sinn an Rathad Mor and The High Road to Gairloch - This Scottish tune is thought to date from the 17th Century. It is found in the manuscript of Sir William Mure of Rowallan and scholars believe he wrote it between 1612 and 1623 and in many other early collections. The pipe march High Road to Gairloch and the Gaelic song Gabhaidh Sinn an Rathad Mòr probably evolved at a later date.
