The Stool of Repentance (sheet music)

This is another early tune written in the 18th century. It is a guitar jig arranged by Duncan Kennedy - it is very popular with fiddlers and often used for dancing the Strip the Willow dance. The Stool of Repentance was where the minister sat those who had misbehaved during his church service. The tune includes staff notation and guitar tablature to make it easy to learn.
