Athole Highlanders (sheet music)

This is a clarsach arrangement of the tune. It is a 6/8 bagpipe march (but it can also be played as a jig) and as a jig is very popular in Scotland for dancing a Strip the Willow dance.

It has 4 parts and the A and B parts use the A arpeggio over and over again making it easy and fun to learn. It is very popular with fiddlers and pipers too and a great one to learn for a session.

This is the version that goes with the video of the same name.
