The Isle of Mull (sheet music)
From Moffat's 'The Minstrelsy of the Scottish Highlands' (1907). Dugald McPhail (1818-87), a native of Torosay on the island of Mull, is said to have written these words while working in the busy industrial towns of Newcastle in the North of England. Nothing is known concerning the origin of the beautiful melody.
