This well known Gaelic waltz is called Eilean mo Chridhe in Gaelic, and was written by Iain (Kaid) MacIlleathain.

This tune is fun and easy to play - you can use it for playing at ceilidhs (dances) when you know it well. The tune uses only 5 notes on the A and E strings and is based on a simple arpeggio (scale).

Well known fiddler Sarah Naylor is the player on this track and you will be able to see from the video very clear fingers and bowing so you can copy her easily.
