Ceol na Fidhle Volume Four (book)

This is the fourth collection of Highland fiddle tunes and now forms part of a popular six book set. This is a great collection of the most popular pipe tunes in good fiddle settings (this material is also suitable for whistle, accordion, mandolin, piano etc). Included in the books as well as the bagpipe tunes are ancient airs for fiddle from early music collections, Gaelic song airs and contemporary material in the same style that has made its way into the modern Scottish repertoire of the young fiddlers and Scottish bands.

This is the music that has been popularised by such leading bands as Alasdair Fraser, Capercaillie, Blazin' Fiddles, Wolfstone and many others and toured worldwide to represent Scottish music in all corners of the world.

A great selection of 2/4 Pipe Marches, 6/8 Pipe Marches, Jigs, Reels, Slow airs, Hornpipes, Polkas, Strathspeys etc. Many of these tunes are not available in fiddle settings in any other publication.
