Doug Stuart (biography)
Doug Stuart is from Inverness and was taught at school by Isobel Bethune in the 60’s. His grandfather, a shepherd from Glenlivet, had an influence on his playing as he was a fine fiddler. Doug was leader of Inverness Fiddlers for the last 24 years and has played in many folk and dance bands. He also teaches fiddle both for Feis Rois and privately.
